I mentioned this in another thread but hadn't seen anyone on Dakka bring it up yet so I thought it deserved its own thread:

Something I read in the Codex last night:

If the unit is forced to fall back, any RP awaiting tokens are left behind and destroyed!

So in terms of shooting, if you can dink down leadership a bit and cause 25% casualties, you may be able to force the crons away from their RP awaiting tokens! Very nasty indeed.

On the train headin down to delicious town

Keep in mind the whole army is Ld10 though so dont count on shooting them away. Your best bet as most on here have said is focused fire. If you kill all the models in the unit then the lose the RP tokens as well. Barring that your gonna have to get close eventually.

Not to worry, that block of chedder can be tied up easily with 30 boyz, can get his ass handed to him in a match with Ghazzy, and can be squigified with Zogwort. How satisfiying would that be? ....Squigfiston, Lord of gak...

on the forum. Obviously

Yeah, that happened to my immortals once. Half the squad got killed, and they fell back. Nasty.

On the plus side, you do get quite a few fearless units.

The fearless units generally don't have reanimation.

Spyders: fearless, no RP
Scarabs: fearless, no RP
Wraiths: fearless, no RP
Ctan Shard: fearless, no RP
Triarch Praetorians: fearless, yes to RP

So that is one unit that has fearless where RP come into play, and it probably won't come into play all that often as they are very expensive jump infantry, and most likely will be taken only in small units which will get shot off the board rather than have a chance to come back.
