So we all more or less figure it's gonna probably be up to 6 months before Wave 2 comes out of the Necron Release. Personally I find that the Doomscythes probably thee best heavy support unit in the codex and I want to field them. So does anyone know what may make a good substitute/proxy?

a cut up pie plate? Honestly thats what I'd be using, a pie plate cut to about the right shape and size. I know it wont look great, but it's not really supposed to, its more to get a feel for the unit and it's size, shape and rules.
