Can anyone tell me why triarch praetorians have tails? I looked through the fluff and can't find any reason for this at all. Just seems like a pointless addition to the model.

Well, the necrons were aliens. They prolly had tails in life.

As stated in the next post after yours, no other neuron has a tail. Maybe the Anubis-type bodyguard was inspiration...but it just seems kinda wacky. If I ever got praetorians, those would be chopped off quickly.

But yeah...that is odd. Maybe some sort of odd mutation? Maybe the tails on all the other crons got lost when they became machines, but the praetorians kept theirs because...Science?

The tails are separate pieces, just leave them off.

Immortals ,Destroyers, Lords have really protruding spinal cord, and i guess the elites such as praetorian just takes it a step further.

Atleast they didn't make it protrude from the front xDDDDDDD

I always figured that all of the writers were also sculptors, so they could better put their fluff ideas into the models
