Ok so I wanted to know what a locator beacon dose in the SM (vanilla) codex and I cant find it so:

A) Can anyone tell me where the page number is?
B) Can anyone tell me what it dose?

Locator Beacon entry in the SM codex is on page 67 in the Scout Biker entry. They simply allow deepstriking units to deepstrike without scatter so long as they do so within 6" of the model with the beacon that was already on the table at the start of your turn.
