Experienced wargamer craving a d20 sci fi skirmish.

What tips can you offer to newbies? Im here at work and all ears. My mates will
benefit from this thread as well.

I think with infinity, the army you choose should just be the one that looks cool to you. They do have different things that other ones dont but remember 1 guy can do all the work in the game if your lucky enough.

Always get the rulebook i think they have it for free on the website, but its with out the fluff.
But read over the rules alot, it takes some time to suck it all in.
My friends and i started out slow and play with out using there special skills, later we start using them once we got the hang of it.


second id get a starter, like i said pick the army that you think looks cooler.

i echo what cody20 says tbh. Choose the coolest army that you think and get the rule book. Start with the quick start rules and alot of terrain, otherwise your gaming will be very short.

Yep - pick the army you like the models best!

Play basic rules, get used to the tactical opportunities and constraints.

Personally I like Yu Jing, Ariadna, and Pan Oceania as my top three factions.
