GW is a publicly traded company, I believe they are in fact in it for the money. Wasting, or being introduced to the faction you didnt know you loved? haha.

I'm not saying it will get implemented, and in all likely hood it won't, I was just considering it as a solution to the number of Codexes that
GW has created, and a possible way to reduce releases, without removing armies.

This seems reasonable. Although, I would begin to worry about the changes piling up creating a hodge podge of rules more difficult to understand than american Tax Code.
Why not use the internet for painting tips? And background while you're at it, then yuo can have the rules guys doing their rules thing, and the fluff guys continuing to produce fluff continually creating whta I think would be a more immersion .
