Hello all, i been posting my list here and there, play testing them, so how about this. Even still not sold for HQ, but who would be a formidable replacement?

I have yet to reply as I have no idea how to use stormravens well. I do not really believe some people's description of the effectiveness.

Please can someone post a Battle report where stormravens perform well and not because the enemy hasn't targeted them or just rolled badly . Seriously can someone do that for me.

Two Librarians, or a Librarian and a Chaplain to ride along in the storm ravens could replace Meph pretty easily.

With the Libby in the Storm Raven, the shield of Sanguinius extends out a bit farther to cover your army better. 2 Libby's could thus provide a tad more protection. The Chappy obviously buffs the CC prowess of a unit, probably the terminators.

Not enough troops at this points level and not enough vehicles, as this points level those 4 vehicles won't last long.

I think your problem is you've dumped too much points into costing units. You've got the Ravens and Terminators which are about 600 points then add in Mephiston you're takling over 800 points, probably about 900 points, which is over half of your list.

Mephiston is pretty key in this sort of list as I see it. He satisfies the HQ requirement and gives you nasty cargo for a Stormraven. The only other way to do both those things for less than 250 points is Libby + 5 man DC, which doesn't compare very favorably in my opinion.

Getting two Dreadnoughts into the list seems key, but I don't see any way to do it unless you're willing to give up the Priests. It's going to be a stretch at 1750 no matter how you slice it.

TBH I don't see getting a Stormraven for Mephiston, he can flu himself! I know about psychic powers etc, but he only needs to get himself for a few turns and after that I am pretty sure he has fleet.
