So i am on a punisher kick trying to find awesome things to do with useless model pieces, if you could take a normal punisher gun on a Sentinel, Armored or Scout at + 30 points, would you?
or in the spirit of my heavy weapon team topic, should a punisher toting Sentinel use the semi modified
Str 4, heavy 9, 30" range "Gatling Punisher"

Chimeras > rhinos (course then again piling a regular squad out of a chimera usually creates a scene similar to Omaha beach during D-Day) |

Doesn't seem big enough to use a Punisher Cannon.

A smallish gatling gun mounted under the pilots seat would be the best bet. It would have to be a huge point increase though.

You know where the Punisher cannon works? On a fast, AV12, skimmer. FWs Vulture can mount a twin-linked Punisher cannon, which eliminates the problems inherent with the gun. Twin-linked gives you an average of 15 hits instead 10, and the fast platform increases your threat range to 36" from 30", while also ensuring you're difficult to hit in assault.
That's where Punisher cannons should be. Twin-linked and on a fast platform.

Hull mounted punisher burst gun(hellound varients and chimeras +15pts) ST4 heavy 6 ap- range 26
Heavy weapons Punisher, takes place of 2 heavy weapons teams in a platoon (4 in a ccs) +25pts

Or as an upgrade to a hydra, twin linked punisher cannons would look pretty sweet and, with twin link would be quite scary, especilly as a squadron.

Lol, and with the anti air platform. Problem is s 5, kinda low for most skimmers are 11+ so youll need 6's to glance.

if its duel twin-linked punisher cannons then i doubt 6's are going to be a problem...
