If Anraykr is embarked on a Catacomb Command Barge, does the Sweep Attack benefit from either his furious charge or counter attack?

Something tells me no.

Good question is he charging or being charged? If not, then Sweep Attack does not benefit from these special rules.

My gut reaction is no. The Sweep Attack rules only specify that you gain Strength bonuses and special abilities from his close-combat weapon.

While I realize that it can be read differently, sweep attacks are still not "charging" so Furious Charge won't take effect, and Counter Attack only works when being charged, which has nothing to do with sweep attacks.

he's not charging into hand to hand.... so no furious charge.

Can a Catacomb Command Barge charge someone like a walker charges someone?

Sweep attacks are calculated in the movement phase, if his barge can sweep (ala bladevanes) then charge it would be helpful.

If only tank shock counted as a charge lol... "drive closer so I can hit it with my sword!"

FC does not work with the Sweep Attack, as you havent made an assault move that turn.

The sweep attack does not benefit from Furious Charge,

but sweeping (no FC),

THEN charging out of the open topped command barge does have an effect.
