Hey, I was thinking of making a fluff-based Imperial Guard army with Grenedier Veterans, i.e. vets with carapace armour.
Is there any way of making the models look like they're wearing armour rather than stormtroopers with lasguns?

Ever thought 40k would be a lot better with bears?

Kasrkin were actually initially meant to represent Cadian Grenadeirs. So you could use those.

People just use them as Stormtroopers because theywork fine for that and look a million times better.

Yeah, use the Kasrkins. Awesome looking models, and fits the theme nicely.

I was planning on using them as stormtroopers because of the gakky stormtrooper models. But I suppose they come in packs of 10 relatively cheap and I only need 5 stormtroopers anyway.
