As the title says, what would be the best model to use for her?

Also...that is a pretty hot name/title

I would suggest starting with a Kabalite Warrior womans model, but youll obviously need alot of work put into it.

My general ideas was an up-armored Lelith.

It seems like a Kabalite base is the way to go since she is an Archon and wears kabalite armor.

I made my Malys from a female Kabalite warrior with the following bits additions:

For the Lady's Blade I used this:

And I gave her a back banner (can't remember from which fantasy kit) and had a fan sculpted out of green stuff.

She is a neat character and I was really hoping a figure was going to be released in the DE wave 2, but alas, GW whiffed on that one.

I briefly considered using this Privateer Press figure but reconsidered due to the attire on the miniature.

http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/ Check out Dark Sword miniatures. They have REALLY great sculpts of everything. Not overlarge heads either. I'm sorry GW, but I really can't justify buying your female figures when they all look like transvestites with beach ball breasts.

The Dark Elf Queen is the model I've been looking at for Malys if/when I ever start my DE army

Now that I think about it, the Lhamaean would probably be the best one to use.

The the Dark Elf queen is also something I would consider.

My initial idea had been to use the Dark elf Queen, but once i saw the Lhamaean.. well, i think thats a very fitting base.

The Lhamaean is the natural and best choice IMHO.

A friend asked me to make a Lady Malys model for his dark eldar a few weeks ago. As i was looking for ideas I ran across this thread. I decided to go with the Avatars of War: Dark Elf Queen as my basis. Unfortunately, my friend didn't want the model as it contained metal parts, but I'm quite pleased with how she came out. Any feedback and criticism is appreciated. Thank you for all of the ideas.

Im sry about your friend, he really have problems if he dont want a nicelly converted HQ like that, just because it have metal parts...

DE are supposed to be aliens...not supermodels...even thoughGW tried to make em look like it...

I would use the Isabella VC figure, but with a round base and preferably not misacasted
