Okay so I'm getting back into after a small break and I'd like to make a new army, well here it goes:

Okay so pretty much the Vets go in the Vendettas and kill/destory big things. The power blob hold objectives with support of 2 Hydra Tanks attached to each platoon.

Let me know how I can improve the list. Keep in mind I'm going for the "all round" approach.

Er... you have a Commissar in your PCS and not in your blobs? Your giving BS 3 troops plasma guns?, your expecting your 5 man PCS to get into close combat? Either that or you totally have the combined squad rules screwed up... only thing that can combine up are Platoon Infantry Squads (PIS).

You have heavy bolter sponsons on your Vendettas... are you expecting to have them survive long enough to fire on troops, specially when your tactic is to suicide them in?

I have a feeling your alittle confused on the combined squad rules, so will let you re-think your list and post a responce, because I have a feeling that will change up your list quite a bit.

Take a long, hard look at Creed. If your still doing platoons, take a long, hard look at HWSs. If you do HWSs, take a long hard look at a Lord Commissar to hang out with them, maybe even equipped with a camo cloak and a bolter and nothing else.
