I never liked the Typhoon Launchers on the speeders. They just broke up the lines of the vehicle too much. With my recent use of IG Sentinel Launchers on Termnators I had an epiphany.
The MK1 version. I use magnets to swap weapons on my speeders already, so why not just add the missile launcher.



Unfortunately, in a recent game my opponent played the speeders exactly as modeled and would not let me shoot missiles when I was behind a low hill (the launcher was masked by the hill but th speeder itself was wide open.
So...a magnet on top to clear LoS issues. The MK2.

Yeah, when I decided to really work on a Chapter I noticed very few Hawk Lords online and none in the local area. So it made for a unique Chapter.
Lately though I've finished 30+ terminators so I've been using them as a Dark Angel founding Chapter (playing Deathwing since thats another army rarely seen these days).

I liked the look of the Sentinel Launcher. More sleek and the angled sides fit the speeders look alot more; imho.
