The description reads it allows the user to strike four times instead of once, does that imply that a wolfclaw legitimately attacks four times?

Only if they have 4 attacks on their statline.

Or if they have 3 attacks on their statline, and they assaulted that turn.

Or if they have 3 attacks on their statline, and they have two wolfclaws.

Or if they have 2 attacks on their statline, and they have two wolfclaws, and they assaulted that turn.

Don't confuse fluff with the actual rules. You still determine how many attacks you get as normal.

It's just a bit of fluff text. Only the model's Attacks characteristic plus their bonus attack for having two claws matters. In short, they have one extra attack from a pair of lightning claws plus however many attacks they have in their Attacks characteristic.

Blahblahblah so misleading, it actually states the answer clearly at the bottom thus putting me at the wrong end of a bet with a friend, FML
