your missing the icing on one of your troops choices there.... Belial gives on the upgrade to an apothacary. so th/ss termies that score and have fnp.

other than that drop some of the dreads in the second list and make it a full 30 scoring bodies. thers more resilient, put out one more shot w/ 1 lower str and higher ap, and can deepstrike for better placement. the strength in this list is 30 2+ 3++ guys rinning arrouns w/ all the str8 weapons you could want, not the lascannon platform that only takes on shot to kill.

Yeah I didnt forget the apothicary, just we are in a league game and I won a card that gives me feel no pain troops, so no need to waste the points . Thank you for your Suggestion.
I love the idea of running tons and tons of terminators too . I just have 3 dreads that I never get to use lol.

Ii would add some chainfits too you lose the 3 up invaluable but you can open up all those nasty tanks.

I think second list is better. Drop the Assault dread for a plasma dread. I also like vindies better then preds. Personal taste there.

I don't think you need CF. You have plenty of AT with he hammers. In fact i think you have to many TH/SS. You will get swollowed whole if a horde army hits you. You really need some LC's to help with that. Your choice of course.

The cf gives you two dice for armor pen with the TH you need a 6 to pen armor 14 i thing CF is better agnsted tanks than TH and the same against infantry the reason for having the TH SS comb is for that 3 up invol and i find that with wound alcation 2 or 3 is enough.

I just don't feel they are needed. I guess if he faces alot of Land Raiders then yeah. I just haven't seen that many LR to justify using the CF's. The las cannon's can do the job. Like I said I don't think you need all the TH/SS either. Yes they do give you a 3++. Wel what happens when someone shoots that squad with alot of small arms fire. That 3++ is wasted for what? Besides TH/SS are boring and you see them way to much now adays. All chapter have gone to them. They are so much better now? No!

Yeah I like the idea of using lightning claws for hordes, I will have to include them into my list. Thanks guys

Not if those terminators are in the Land Raiders. I am guessing that is where they are at. As that is the only reason I would add Land Raiders to an army like this. You could could so much more fire power for the points you spent on those LR's. Thats just a matter of opinion though.

I am not saying mine is better, but I do feel it has a bit more diversity to deal with armor and infantry alike.

The second list is pretty much great. I would take LCs are you can be swallowed up quite quickly by hordes. The apothecary is just too funny not to take. MM on the typhoons would seem a good idea, I can never tell.

The first list however would die to easily, 35 termies are not indestructible nor that capable at doing all round damage despite a suggestion above. Also Raiders really do not fit into deathwing.

Off the top of my head i used to run a list something like this

I used the LRC and vinicators to cut down hordes, threw 2 squads down on turn one, had belial and the apothacary squad in the LRC putting arround. riflemans for transport poping.

the basic idea was all the weapons that can kill termies easy are anti tank weapons so target priority is a pain
