Welcome to the second Vermintide Warhammer Fantasy Tournament. A ONE DAY tournament designed for newcomers and veterans alike.
The Players:
All the Players that attend Vermintide 2011 are expected to conduct themselves appropiately the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need (dice, measureing tape, clear army lists and their armies!) and in general contributing to a friendly enviroment where everyone can enjoy both their games and the time spent between rounds (what little there is).
The tournament organiser will do his best to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly and everything is provided to enable the players to get as much enjoyment as possible from the event, and likewise the players should do their utmost to hold up their end of the bargain. Most important of all, enjoy yourself!

Gerneral Format:
Army Size: 1200 points
Table Size: 5ft x 4ft
Rounds: 5 scenarios
Game Length: 1 and half hours each game
Opponents: In round 1, where possible, experienced tournament players will be matched to less experienced players, thereafter Swiss System. Family Members, or other regular opponents as notified, will not play against each other in the first three rounds. No grudge matches can be booked.
Registration:
The cost of the entry into the event will be $15 for Warlords members and $20 for non-Warlord members. Registration is to be in by the 19th of November.

Regulations:
-Vermintide 2011 will be under the 8th Edition Warhammer Fantasy rule set.
-No back of the book lists are allowed
-All armies must use an Army book that has bin published and released in Australia at least 1 month before the commencement of the tournment. Chaos Dwarf Generals may use the list from Indy
GT Chaos Dwarf Army Book unofficial book or the Tamurkhan Book. Please explain your list to opponents.
-Weapons, armour options and upgrades chosen from the army list must be shown on the majority of the models in a unit as much as possible. (Some discretion with older models are allowed)
-Proxies are allowed within reason. The proxy should resemble the troops/warmachine as closely as possible. It is important that the proxies do not confuse your opponent.
-Scenarios from the rule book will be used to encourage all rounder armies.
-The games will be played with open lists. Players can ask to see their opponents army list at any time and have functions of magic items explained.
-The tournament will be under the following "Hardcaps"
-Maximum Power Dice Usage of 12 in the Magic Phase (as distinct from the maximum of 12 dice in the pool at any time)
-Army to have no more than three potential template weapons
-Army to have a maximum of three warmachines (2 for 1 count as one)
-No more than two of the same special choice
-No double rar choice worth more than 70 points
-Only one item that automatically dispels a spell
-Battle Standard Bearers can use mundance equipment available to heroes
Army Specific restriction
-Daemons of Chaos: No duplication
od Daemonic gifts.
-Empire: The Steam Tank is classed as a Warmachine.
-Dark Elves: Maximum of 6 dice can be used for a single spell.
-Skaven: A maxiumum of three engineers
-Vampire Counts: Only one Vampire may have the Loremaster ability
