Hello all,

I have stumbled accross some minis from my closet that I have no idea what game they belong to. I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me. I think they are for some sort of mass combat 8 to 10mm-ish sized game (the minis are a smidge or so bigger then the Epic super-heavy tanks), although they are not for Epic or Battletech of that I can be sure. (I have a fair amount of experiance with those).

If anyone knows, I'd much appreciate it.

Thank you in advance.

That first one looks like the APC from Aliens

"You smell dat? Do you smell dat? Napalm, son. Nofing else in da galaxy smells like dat. I love da smell of napalm in da morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' 'ummie body. Da smell, you know dat gasoline smell, da whole hill. Smelled like... victory."

They kinda sorta look like something from 'Hammer Slammers'. Do a google search on it, might help a little. Good luck finding out =o]

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

I don't deserve the gushing praise.

I farmed it off to the folks on the TMP boards (the miniatures page). Got a response in a couple of minutes.

Not surprising you haven't heard of the game. Neither had I - but I don't really pay attention to the sub-15mm scales.

It's based off a set of fringe characters from ONE episode of the babylon 5 TV series (Garibaldi gets lucky) called "Gropos" (GROund POunderS, IE, marines).

The advertising must have been non-existant. I played the space game with friends and even played in some tournaments with my Centauri fleet.

I had no idea that a ground game existed. I probably would have tried it mainly since I do have a favorable outlook on mass combat style games like Epic 40k.
