Hi Dakka,

As I've only played a handful of games (GK) I'm still not completely clear on certain things. One of them is proper use of terrain to grant cover saves to my psyrifle dreads. At my FLGS we have a couple pieces of cratered terrain and the crashed vendetta area terrain. If I stick my dreads along the edges such that they are shooting through less then 2" of the area terrain in order to get out do I get a 4+ cover save - even though my dread stands way taller than the terrain piece? Or does the dread need to have 50% of it's body blocked by LOS blocking terrain in order to get the cover save? Thanx!

MCs and vehicles require 50% to be hidden to claim cover.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Vehicles and Monstrous Creatures require that 50% of the model be hidden in order to grant a cover save. So area terrain most likely won't do you any good, unless its a rather tall piece. Unlike normal infantry models, simply being in area terrain doesn't cut it.
