Ok first i dont realy know where this post gose, it seems to fit here.
So in a IG CC you get a wargear opption for all of your vets + commander, but they dont let you get hellguns/hotshot las guns,
also wouldn't make sence if the commanders body guards were stormtrooper/Kasrkins (for Cadians). Well thats my question and if you think a hellgun for you CC is OP explain why, Thank you.

I don't think it would be overpowered, but I've always imagined that the Bolt Pistol is the status symbol rather than a Laspistol, hotshot or otherwise.

Hellguns aren't overpowered in any capacity. It would be a cool piece of wargear the squad could take, more for flavor than anything else. You could take special weapon stormtrooper models though, and run them as the command squad. That way you could still get the look and get a usable squad out of it.

It's one of the many things that isn't an option any more. Well, it was never exactly an option (back when the closest thing was, you didn't have AP3 hellguns).
Add that to the wishlist of viable and appropriate options that should have been in the current generation of codexes but wasn't :/

It'd be nice to have a powerful pistol that didn't blow up in your face (plasma).
Not sure about helguns since I always give command squad veterans melta guns.

plus I love to see the CC have difrent additons to it. like besides nork dog just a standerd ogryn body guard or maby a physker (I forgot if you could attach one to the CC if not then i wish you could) I like how SW or just a normal SM captin is realy customisable

from a fluff standpoint it sort of makes sense.
The Company Commander is protected by his best troopers from his regiment. Which are equal to veterans.
Stormtroopers do not belong to the regiment and are used for special missions. Not protecting some wannabe in the back.

Those vets have a pretty damn good wargear selection. Meltaguns, plasma pistols and guns, medics, flamers, heavy flamers, sniper rifles, grenade launchers, flags, grenades, all kinds of crap you'll never take. If you wanted to homebrew it and say your dudes could have hellguns/pistols for like +2 points a man, I wouldn't argue one bit.

Actually, there have, on occasion, been rules for fielding all-stormtrooper regiments (3rd edition, at least) and something very similar to stormtrooper regiments (regimental doctrines: cadians could basically do it; at least one other that was a planet stormtroopers were heavily trained on).
Since they did away with that sort of thing, I think that they should have done something akin to the current Space Marines Codex (for instance), with the option that, if the HQ takes the "stormtrooper HQ" (or whatever) upgrade, X # of storm trooper units can be taken as troops.
This is sort of fieldable as carapace armor and storm trooper squads, but, with the radical shift in equipment, it's less comparable, now.
