Uhg. The whats new today page has a customer buying a yak load of junk (highlighting the limited run, or as we call it, limited fun dreadfleet box). This is fine, but the dude buying it is clearly the store manager. Really? Not a single real customer in the store during the shoot? I know gw is trying to get away from the "only our employees buy our products" stigma from outsiders, and the "internal groupthink" from fans but that's not helping...

Sure we can. We can report GW sucks threads as the spam they are (when there are 5 of them at any time in Dakka Discussions, it is spam). Then I don't have to censor myself.

Only if they're on the same subject or from the same person. Otherwise they can be considered legitimate. But that's really something for the mods to decide.

I suggested something similar a while back, though it wasn't in a formal Nuts and Bolts thread. I'm going to add one now.

Agreed. I'm all for people complaining about GW's practices (price increases, embargoes, insane shipping rates, 'army of the month' buying structure, - you know, significant stuff), but when it's something as inane as their 'What's New' article, let's just stick that away in it's own 'special' corner.

While I don't like to encourage thread de-railing, we do sometimes lock threads that have become irretrievably de-railed.
