Subject: Back to the grind!

 Greetings one and all! I have decided to return to the hobby world after a decade of being away... yes thats right! 10 yrs! I decided to start a little early on my New Year's resolution and dig out my miniatures and models from yester-year and see what I can put together. The Emperor knows I've moved them around enough! I am a HUGE Imperial Guard fan and will be posting some works in progress as soon as I get a decent camera!
As Games Worshop has yet to produce a decent female IG trooper en-masse, I am interested in any and every conversion idea, be it simple or difficult.
I look forward to many, many hours of gaming, painting, and conversions!

Hi and welcome t' dakka!
The easiest way to get female guard are to buy conversion kits from 3rd party companies...unfortunately very few of them seem to be able to get the proportions right...the alternative to that is to model them yourself...there are a few threads going round atm about this, and they should give advice and tips if you intend to make your own.
Whatever you decide to do, welcome back to the hobby, and have fun ^^
