My Necron friend has brought up the ability of Entropic Strike to remove armor saves from a model that takes an unsaved wound. I understand that part of the rule but he then went on to say that Invulnerable saves were included in the Entropic strike rule and the Model would lose its Invulnerable save as well. I do not agree that both Armor and Invulnerable are covered by the Entropic Strike rules.

I believe that Armor saves and Invulnerable saves are two seperate entities and the Entropic Strice rule specifically states Armor save.....not Invulnerable. What is the growing consensus on this? (Or is there one?)

You're right, he's wrong.

Anything affecting invul saves has to be stated - similar to how power weapons, MCs, etc. don't ignore invul saves.

Doesn't it also say it removes "armor saves"? Beyond the fact that invo saves are pretty invulnerable (and becoming more so......they've largely removed everything that ignore invo saves, now) and invo save is not an armor save.

All clarifications are encouraged....we have an upcoming match and i want this issue put to bed before the battle begins and the beer flows......
