I threw that last part in there to entice people to ask "Wtf? Is he nuts?" Well, yes people, but that's besides the point. I took them in a game last night and they did what I intended-held up a nasty shooting unit turn one (thanks to a timely lash-pull) and helped keep my daemon princes alive. Without further ado, here is last night's list. PS, game was over turn 2. Only had to mop up a couple small token resistances turn 3 and 4.

Works out to 1846, and it worked well. I'm also thinking about running a similar list to get a friend into the game, maybe taking out the lashes-he wants to learn Necrons, and I think this list might give him a bit of a fight, but he should be able to beat it with the Newcrons. Thoughts? Suggestions what to change to make it fun for a new player to play against.

To make the list fun for a new player I'd just replace the lash princes with warptime princes.

In terms of the list- it looks like a lot of fun to play. But it could get frustrating sometimes... it has 0 chance to crack open armor in the first 2 turns- which will give you many headaches against a mech opponent. Also- the list seems to use lash as a crutch to pull enemies towards the lumbering dreads/spawns- if somebody can drop ur DPs early on/psychic hood them then ur in a bit of a pickle.

Just no popping first turn-there are 4 combi-meltas that can be in range turn two. It's not supposed to be a broken list, just fun and easy to teach someone with. That said, I was playing against a friend's Tau list with this last night, and he's usually really good with them. Lash isn't a crutch, but it's hard to deny its usefulness.

The Bezerkers don't make sense-this looks like a Slaanesh army , so what are they doing there? (Unless you're using Slaanesh equivelents of Bezerkers.)

There are 4 Slaanesh units, 2 khorne, and everything else is undivided. I'm using straight up berzerkers, but the whole point was to have my Slaanesh Princes as big, obvious targets (while performing well before they die, hopefully), Noise Marines fill multiple roles, and berzerkers are my beatsticks, along with dreadnaughts. I know they aren't always friendly, but I wanted those two as my varying troops, led by daemon princes, and let's face it-khorne princes suck.

How do Khorne princes suck?

One additional attack, nothing more. I'd rather be faster, with access to lash; be toughness 6 instead of 5; or have a 4++ instead of a 5++. All of these options are better than "+1 attack." Yes, Khorne princes suck. They're also worthless in the daemon codex, and they are the only princes I don't have models for. If the MoK gave them furious charge, well, that would be a different story.
