As per the title. Looking for suggestions to build a 2250 Grey Knights army list to use against Necrons.. I know some people disagree with tailored lists, but as myself and my opponent generally try to come up with new tricks to use against each other, it's fair.

I'm thinking along the lines of Draigo, a unit or two of Paladins.. some Psyriflemen and so on and so forth. Advice and list suggestions greatly appreciated, as I don't have much time on my hands to write one up just yet, so thanks in advance for any who do reply.

Vindicare Assassin, your opponent will probably have Crypteks and Lords joined to other units, the Assassin can pick them out and rob your opponent of some choice pieces of wargear.

Draigo, librarian with staff and 4 powers (warp rift, might, shrouding, sanctuary, 2 5 man paladin squads (2 psycannon, hammer, 2 halberds, stave, sword), 2 stormravens (TL melta, TL plasma, extra armour), 3 dreadnoughts, vindicare assassin, techmarine

should come to around 2250 (my codex isn't handy). Techmarine lets your assassin and maybe dreadnoughts get better cover saves. Stormravens push your paladins up the board fast to assault. Warp Rift is always a decent power but I2 makes it hilarious.

I'd expect the ravens to get knocked out quickly but they'll have done their job and also attracted a fair amount of fire away from your dreadnoughts and assassin

Alrighty then, played the match against Necrons.. very close, ended on turn 5.. lost 6-5, unfortunately. Very good game though.

Lost both strike squads and their rhinos, the Tech Marine, the Land Raider and a Paladin.

Here's what I was up against.

Damn annoying when threads get kicked onto page 2, means no replies..
