How do I use this list competitively, and don't tell me to change any of this list without a very good reason.

While I may not be the most competitive player, I would say you could use the predators and lazorback squads defensively, holding objectives on you board edge, while possible deep striking the terminators. You could then use the terminators and land speeders to tie up your opponent's army and contest the objectives on his side. I like this list, especially with all the firepower you're bringing to bear.

If only I could make up my mind

One thing to think about is Target Priority tests. You do still take them (for your infantry, not for the tanks) and it is LD -1 as well. It might be worth considering taking a Marshal for the LD 10 on everyone.

As to how to play the list?

Shooty lists focus on Target Priority for the most part. Take out/neutralize (ie stun or weapon destroy or immobalize depending) the most dangerous targets to you then move on to the next most dangerous thing.

The terminators are a decent counter assault unit, but should not go up against any dedicated close combat units. Use them to prevent mid range assault units (assault marines, or Grey hunters ect.) from getting into assault with the crusaders.

You do have a lot of S9, but you may find it hard to deal with AV 14. You can Chainfist it, but by then it is mostly to late.

Getting to far flung objectives will be something to think about as well. You may need to plan ahead for the termiators (ie, they will take 3 turn to contest that objective)

You might want to consider a ven dread with tankhunters, lascannon and rockets. It's almost a guaranteed enemy vehicle destroyed per turn.

Why would you take expensive dakka-preds when you can take cheap las/las preds?

Pretty sure this is wrong. Target priority is not a rule anymore, meaning that every mention of it in the codex is meaningless

YMDC has gone back and forth on this. The "right" thing to do is to plan for the less advantageous way and talk it over with your opponent.

If the scenery allows you make the stereotypical gun line and shoot the enemy to kingdom come.
If not you choose good gun lines to shoot down and persuade the enemy to run down them.
Seriously nothing too fancy.

I guess your question ought to be how do I respond to my enemy.

DoA you stay together protect tanks with walls of troops and then shoot the enemy once they land.
Orks I guess snikrot and koptas are the funny units where you make sure they follow the rules and give them nothing important to attack. Seriously koptas should be awful alpha strike units.
Tau you stay well back and I think you'll be fine. Tau will happily engage in this sort of shoot out.
Drop pods again you bubble with troops your guns. You should find the enemy is drip fed to your guns.

Too many possibilities. But in general you out shoot the enemy however they pop up.

It is an earlier version of my gunline list, yes.

Ok, played with my imperial guard and a librarian made a 30 man powerblob flee off theboard first turn from a drop pod, failed both leadership tests, so sad.

Also, the BT FAQ says you still need to test.
