Just managed to acquired the majority of the models needed for this list.

The list's "gimmick" is map control. With three large units of boyz spread across the table (when appropriate) to force the enemy to focus fire/charge down a single portion. Ideally, once they've committed to their attack the Kommandos units come in and join the counter-attack. Snikrot will always come down where I want him to, the other two units have ~66% chance to come down where I want them to. Ghaz is used as the hammer in Snikrot's unit, and his uber-Waaagh! helps the rest of my army get into position for a timely counter-attack. Stormboyz feel out of place, and I would be open to suggestions for what I could replace them with. As of now they play a supporting role, staying in reserve or hiding behind BLOS terrain until another Power Klaw is needed somewhere on the battlefield, . Gretchin stay back to hold objectives, otherwise they're my KFF.

The obvious weaknesses I see in the list are the lack of KFF, and lack of ranged/mobile AT (deffrolla, rokkits). The army that might be the greatest challenge to face would be fast, skimmer based lists, as they would be able to ignore my "Blokade O' Boyz" and abuse the relatively static nature of the army (especially in the later turns after Waaagh! has been used and the Kommandos are deployed).

I'd love to hear any feedback you might have concerning the list. What weaknesses have I overlooked? How might I overcome those weaknesses tactically?

Maybe if you took numerous koptas then it could work. You do not have enough damage in your list at the moment and there isn't much that would fit with the list.

If you had good scenery then the enemy would find it hard to move you and if you could hide koptas then you may be able to kill things?

Hmm, when you say damage do you mean AT damage or AI damage?

I feel like Koptas would do very well. My biggest worry is who I should remove to include them. The stormboyz would probably be prime candidates, but I cringe at loosing 11 wound and a strength 9 power klaw for 4 wounds and a strength 7 P.K.

First off, i do like the idea a lot, but i think some of the execution is a little iffy.

1. Drop the stormboys, while i like them they are a pretty big points sink.

2. Use 20 points of the stormboys points to upgrade all of those Rokkits to Burnas. Rokkits wont hit much, and wont do a lot of damage either. As orks out AT comes from power claws, let them do their work.

3. Drop one Grot. Using all leftover points buy a Warboss on Bike w/ PK, Attack Squig and Cybork body. attach him to Snikrots squad aswell OR put him in a boys squad.

Then, when snikrots Squad comes on, they will move on and kill the crap out of something, suffer next turn. Then you can seperate the bikerboss to chase down something like Scouts on an objective, Leman Russ Tanks, something not mobile, but a bit of a pain in the arse.

"Da Mek'z tinker nd do their job
The boys 'll smash yah, so will da Nob
The Bos 'll stompa till your dead
Snikrot 'll kill ya wiff is hands behind is 'ead!"

^^^^ Ode to Snikrot, the Sneakiest, Stabbiest, Morkiest, Kommando to ever walk the face of whoever looked at him funny! Tourne W/D/L 6/0/0 Public W/D/l 24/2/8 All with my orksof course

That looks like it'll work perfectly! Gets rid of the relatively role-less stormboyz, to make my Snikrot-Ghazzy Hammer even more threatening. I suppose a worry might be that i'm putting a few to many eggs in one basket, but then again, when that unit does come on it'll be wrecking serious face.

so as of now we're sitting at a list that looks like:

30 Slugga
Nob: Bosspole, Power Klaw

30 Shoota
3 Rokkit
Nob: Bosspole, Power Klaw

30 Shoota
3 Rokkit
Nob: Bosspole, Power Klaw

10 Gretchin
Runtherd

10 Gretchin
Runtherd

14 Kommando
2 Burna
Nob: Bosspole, Power Klaw

14 Kommando
2 Burna
Nob: Bosspole, Power Klaw

14 Kommando
2 Burna
Snikrot

Big Ghazzy

Warboss: Bike, Power Klaw, Cybork, Attack Squig.

Total: 1850

I was also considering possibly dropping the two Gretchin squads and a Slugga or two for a reserving nob-less 10 man boy squad w/ a trukk that might capture objectives and help ferry isolated Kommandos to wherever the battle is at. Then again that would require me to drop the two non-snikrot units down to 12 boyz, which might be risky. But would it be as risky as forcing 14 Kommandos to slog across the board 33% of the time? Especially as they now no longer have rokkits, but only burnas.
