Subject: Morale checks in multiple combats

So I was having trouble resolving morale checks with a large multiple combat earlier today. Here's a little diagram of the lines of units in combat:
Ork Boyz A --- Ork Boyz B ---- Ork Boyz C
Necron Warriors A --- Warriors B --- Destroyers
Boyz A deal 5 unsaved wounds to Warriors A and 1 unsaved wound to Warriors B.
Boyz B deal 6 unsaved wounds to Warriors B.
Boyz C deal 1 unsaved wound to Destroyers.
TOTAL WOUNDS - 12
Warriors A deal 3 unsaved wounds to Boyz A.
Warriors B deal 3 unsaved wound to Boyz A and 1 unsaved wound to Boyz B
Destroyers deal 2 unsaved wounds to Boyz C.
TOTAL WOUNDS - 9
(Boyz C and Destroyers are indeed locked in full multiple combat, but their attacks on the other units don't land.)
How does this resolve? Does the "side" collectively lose by 3 or is it allocated somehow? What units roll morale checks? Who's initiative do you use for sweeping advance rolls?

Necron units lost by 3 so each unit take s a check at -3
As for sweeping advance it would only happen only if all the Necron units failed their checks (units would still be in combat even if 2 units fell back depending on placement ) and if this happened i would assume you would have to declare each unit sweep individually as if they had been separate combats

As above. The rules for multiple combats tell you each "side" win or lose together, and if they lose they all lose by the same amount - so everyone takes a morale check at -3 in this case.
As above, you only roll for sweeping advance if all units in combat on the losong side failed their morale check. If just one makes it, you cannot make ANY sweeping advance - all the winning units must try to Pile In! to that squad

Great, thanks guys!
One follow up question: Let's say that in the multi combat, Warriors A was wiped out, leaving Boyz A not in base-to-base contact with any enemy models. They'd be able to consolidate, correct?

No, they MUST attempt to reach BTB with any enemy model involved in the combat. Only if this is not possible woud they consolidate instead

As a nifty side note, if the units are fearless they all take the same number of fearless wounds.
