I heard a person at the FLGS mention he heard that the WD mags added the option to take the StormRaven with other marine chapters. Was this true or just a rumor that never panned out?

Officially, it's just Blood Angels and Grey Knights who get it. However, in friendly games, it depends on the store and the player - at my FLGS, the manager (an official GW employee, a black-shirt no less ) uses one for his Raven Guard, and as such lets every marine chapter use 'em

They printed the rules in White Dwarf along with the points costs and everything. If it said "chapter approved" it would have been perfect. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and it's not usable by other Marine armies. However, if you want to use it in a friendly game you'd probably be in the clear. It's not game-breakingly good or anything.

haha I figured the marine one wasn't game breaking but I was wondering if I could throw a plane against the most annoying valkyrie that shows up every weekend at my FLGS. SInce I primarly play SMs and am starting a Newcron list.

Old Battletech reference to unloading all weapons at once. Usually used to utterly destroy a target as quickly as possible. So that they in turn couldn't return fire.
