Hi, can anyone tell me if there is a good, competitive,1850 army list here?(I'll be as accurate as possible)
There is definately no need to have everything here but this is what i've got:

Mephiston
Dante
5 sanguinary gaurd all with powere swords apart from 1 who has PF and plasma pistol
2 chaplains (probably not needed)
10 tactical marines, missile launcher and flamer, sarge has chainsword and bolt pistol
10 tactical marines, same as above but sarge has PW
5 assault marines with packs, meltagun
5 assault marines with packs, meltagun + sarge has PF and combat shield
5 assault marines with packs, infernus pistol and PW
5 assault marines without packs, infernus pistol
Razorback with twin lascannon and storm bolter
rhino

Sadly, no. Half your models (the Tactical Marines) are close to useless. The only useful models from those Squads would be the Sergeants and the ones with Flamers. You don't have enough Assault Marines to make an effective 1850 BA list.

If your models were unassembled, it would be a little better, as you would be able to make the Tactical Sergeants into (JP-lacking) Assault Marines by swapping the head, and you can use always use Tactical Marines as special weapon carriers, but you'd still be short.

If your modelling skills are good, you could always saw the Bolter arms and backpacks off if you can find BP/CS arms, and JPs are fairly cheap.

You wouldn't need JPs for a mech list but you'd need to buy $300+ worth of vehicles to do that.

useless in almost all cases... run terminators with TH/SS or Twin LC

Take 1 and replace the other with a sang priest and run them with a terminator squad in a land raider redeemer

Useless... drop them run them as assault marines in razorbacks

Drop all their packs and throw them in razorbacks, take predators and baals and you'll have a competitive list

Sorry to be so blunt, hope this helps, competitive lists usually just spam razorbacks, predators, baal predators, terminators, and land raiders, if your looking for points alot of people wont take mephiston but take a libby. PM me if you have any more questions

10- assault marines, 2 meltas and PF: 225pts (combat squads, sarge + 2 meltas for tank hunting)
10- Assault marines, infernus pistol + flamer: 215( combat squads in razorbacks)
10- tactical marines(I know they're sort of useless but they can hold objectives better than assault marines and they're cheaper and locator beacon is good for assault marines) w/ ML and flamer, sarge has teleport homer: 105

Dedicated Transport
Razorback with storm bolter + twin lascannon: 65 pts(discount included)
Razorback with storm bolter + twin HB 35(discount included)

Elites
Furioso dreadnought w/ blood talons and built in heavy flamer and built in melta:135

Heavy Support
SR w/ assault cannons, multi melta, hurricane bolters + extra armour: 245

TOTAL: 1000 pts
tactical marines + epistolary go in SR and assault marines deep strike around teleport homer. epistolary uses shield to protect SR and then marines(tactical and maybe even assault if they can keep up!)
needless to say 2 meltas will go in las razorback for tank hunting and other 5 will go in HB razorback for objectives or anti infantry. I've decided not to include DC as they are very expensive and cannot hold objective. Next addition will probably be CC termies with termie priest in reddeemer to boost up to 1500ish (maybe drop tacticals at that stage!)

i'd honestly make one of the assault marine squads into 2 5 man squads give them both flammers and use the discount on the razorbacks. i havent done the math but i think its wrong. i believe assault marine squads can only get a 35 point discount if they take the razorback as a dedicated transport.

yeah razorbacks with HB are 55 - 35 = 20 (not 25!) I did do the math wrong but It means I have 10 pts leftover!
maybe add infernus instead of melta for one group? Or have 2 5 man ssquad instead of combat squads!

Not sure if you meant to put 10 tactical marines or 5, but you only charged yourself for 5.

With your current list I dont think its legal to have any assault marines with jump packs still.

You have 3 units and 3 dedicated transport, unless I'm mistaken you cant have them as a "combat squad" within the list building stage. You will have to do as Dashyl said and split one of them into two units, which does save you points in the end.

If you still want to run a 10 Assault marine squad I'd drop the Furioso and get a Sanguinary Priest with a jump pack. Then a second one without a jump pack to go in the LR as well. If your intent on keeping the Furioso I'd try find room for a non upgraded drop pod or he will be legging it across the board which will only end badly.

Should be a fun list though, you fit a lot into 1k points. Nice work! Let us know how it goes.

This would work for me:
Mephiston
15 jump pack assault squaders.
dev. squad with 2 missile launchers.
Add a couple of priests.

You can make tactical squads work in BA but they are not the greatest choice. One option is to have jump packers with dev. squads supporting then a tactical squad can nicely protect the dev. squads and make them scoring.

Furioso is in SR! SR is 200 pts base so I haven't cheated points although I did with tac marines

Furioso is in SR with 5 tactical marines and libby.
troops is 10 assault marines with packs (yes! 10!, in combat squads)
others is 5 man squads
