Sup, had a couple of 1500 points battles vs regular Blood Angels opponant, but due to lack of tank models i've not really been able to field what i'd like. Anyway I usualyl have
"Betty", Demolisher with lascannon and multi-meltas
2*normal leman russes w/lascannons
Company Command with MOO, meltaguns, power weapon
5 * meltavets
vendetta
stormtrooper w/meltaguns, deepstriking
marbo

enemy has 3 predators with lascannons/twin-linked lascannons, land-raider with twin-linked lascannons and a devestator squad with lascannons/missile launchers.
Ideally in a 1500 point battle i'd scrap the vendetta and maybe a squad and have 4-5 chimeras with the meltavets so I can get up close and personal and do some damage.
But otherwise my armour buckles under the sheer weight of lascannon shots being unleased on them, and mostly BS4 and twin-linked to boot.
What do, dakka.

Melta vets need a ride, they are far to fragile to footslog it. Keep the vendetta, drop 1 tank for some Chimera. 3 Lemun Russ tanks is excessive at 1,500 points. The MOO is also a bit excessive at 1,500 points since the board is not very crowded. The Lemun Russ and MOO are good units, but they unbalance your list at 1,500 when your vets don't have a ride.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Doesnt the FOC only have 3 Heavy support choices... and he has 4?

Maybe my bad. Anyhow Vets deffo need a right. Just waltz right up to him and cause some pain. He can't have much of the rest of an army... Maybe a infilrating Karskin squad to put the pop on one of those tanks?

Correct. He has too many Heavy Support choices, although the LR is a DT.

I think one of the predators might have been Baal actually, which would make sense.
I've been using my kaskrins fairly effectively but taking out one vehicle out of 6/7 isn't that helpful really.
So I should make sure all my vets have transports? Anything else?

His opponent... 3 Preds + Dev squad. Unlike guard SM can't do squadrons of tanks *dribbles a little at the thought*

A baal predator is considered fast attack so he can have that dev squad if he wanted to so it'd be legal I guess.

Just now realizing that he can have 6 predators if he wanted to @_@

But the OP said 3 Preads with Lascannons. That is only on the Heavy Support Pread.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Oklahoma City, Ok.

A Maticore would be a nice addition.
Set behind terrain, out of sight and snipe him as long as possible.

How is the ST and Marbo working together? are you liking that combo?
I'd imagine out of the 2, they 'should' be able to make at least one
of those Preds go bye-bye.
