Hello, I just converted my Blood Angels Captain and I was really looking forward to fielding him for fun. However, while waiting for the glue to dry off, I was reading the BA codex and found that he is much weaker than his vanilla marine counter part. This forced me to pull out the 2 hand blade and switch it out for something else since he is not allow to have it.
My question is I still want to field him with his Honour Guard squad and I was wondering about which wargears should I give them?
I plan on using them with jump pack.
Some I thought of are
CC Group
345 pts - 3 Lightning Claw, 1 Power Fist, 4 Storm Shield, Jump Pack, Chapter Banner
265 pts - Same as above with out Storm Shield

Ranged Support Group
225 pts - 4 Plasma Gun, 1 Bolter Jump Pack

I'm just wondering what do you think? and what are some other option which would be good?
They are expensive, but I still want to be able to run them somehow.

There are no good options for BA Captains, aside from fielding him as Tycho to give your whole army his 10 Ld.

If you don't want to part with him, give him a power weapon and an Inferno pistol, field him as Dante, and give the Honour Guard 4 meltaguns to cash in on his Tactical Precision.

After careful reading, I just realized that Honour can be include with any HQ choice so I guess there is absolutely no point in having him in the army as captain.
I really like the idea of fielding him as Dante, because I do not like the GW Dante model.
