Okay....him again...granted this guy makes me laugh at times...well mostly waiting for his hair to change position or something. His wife is now saying he's thinking about it...again....running for Pres. again.

I don't recall him ever running, so wouldn't this be the first time? There was some talk earlier this year, but he was in the middle of the season of his "You're Fired" TV show at the time.

He's a joke, though. He'll probably try to push Flat Tax like Forbes did.

Doesn't matter. I'm just watching him. He's always good for a laugh

Ross Perot wasn't trying very hard to get people to like him, he has money and he spent it to open peoples eyes to issues he thought were important. I'm pretty sure in his heart of hearts he didn't think he'd be the POTUS.

I've always thought him to be rather incorruptible considering he's one of the richest people in the world (as in you can't bribe someone with pockets that deep). I don't delve into politics (for good reason), but still I'd like to know why he's a bad choice.

Trump just seems like an old fart to me.

1. Perception he would run the US as a business.
2. He been bankrupt at least once I think not sure how many times.
3. He speaks his mind
4. His hair
5. He might enjoy his one line "Your fired!" to often.

Other then that he more then likely fit right in with the politician. Given time...we be in a trade war with China. Tell's Russia to go to Hell repeatedly. Bomb Iran beyond the stone age. Tell the UN we're done with them and please relocate. Force businesses to not out source. Give the unions a run for their money in the gov't. Aid to foreign country be dramaticaly cut. DRILL BABY DRILL probaly happen...well...just saying..

Anyone who runs for the US presidency has all the connections they'll need to make as much money as they want. Obama isn't going to leave office and start worrying about paying the gas bill.

But corruption isn't just about the cash you get from people. It's about power, and trading the power of the presidency for political favours, like a 'you do this thing for me and I'll do this and this for you when I'm president.' Real political bargains rarely have cash going to the people at the centre of them.

But the real issue is that the guy just isn't very savvy as a political operator. The Republican party was calling out for an outsider, noted successful businessman to be their candidate, so much so that for a fair while there Cain lead the straw polls, despite being a complete unknown, and despite being a very poor campaigner himself. Six months ago all Trump had to do was cash in his name, talk about his credentials and make some noise about running America like a business. Instead he started sounding off about the birther nonsense, and quickly disappeared.

He goofed up during the softball stage of the campaign, so there's no reason to think he'd be anything but a disaster once it got to the serious end.

His first halfassed plan to run was in 2000, where he talked about running as an independant, and he talked about running again in 2004 and 2008 as a Republican. He never got much in the way of numbers, and just kind of fizzled away. He got the most attention this time around, because of that birther nonsense.

He's never actually run, though.

I really think him running doesn't add anything to the helter skelter group as is.
and if he's not getting enough attention, he might just release his own sex scandel.

I always thought he'd be a great president if this was his marketing scheme:

"Hey America. I'm bankrupt, and I live like a billionaire. America is bankrupt too, do y'all want to live like billionaires?"

Gives credence to "America...Land of Oppurtunites" eh

You think so? I'm fairly certain that Trump and his giant ego would dearly love to run the country.

I also suspect if it had just been about publicity for his show's finale, he would have picked a much more softball target, to enhance his business credentials and to avoid alienating the any Democratic supporters in his audience.
