So, I'm looking through the Necron codex, and I notice that none of the Necron Characters have eternal warrior. So, does that mean they are all vulnerable to Instant Death? Is that right? Or am I missing something really obvious?

You are correct. They can use their Everliving rules after it though.

Somewhere.....I hope.

ur right they are. but you have to consider they are t 5 for most and t 6 for the d lord. s 10 for the lords. and then they have rp so they still get a chance to come back

Death is for quitters

Well it sucks, but at least they get EL, so it's 33.3% (or 50% with an orb) chance that they come back after any wound.

...yep you can ID death all of them ... but its not always that easy, destroyer lords are T6 (so no double toughness) and many of the others are T5 which also puts them in relative safety.

Also unless they're on their own you can always allocate the wound to some one else (ignoring CC and every one in the unit taking a wound)

I suppose being toughness 5 (or 6) makes it unlikely to happen, but then again, an Ork Warboss with a Powerklaw can one-shot your 200 pt IC. That's a little scary. All the more reason NOT to get into CC I suppose.

Thanks for the responses.

Yeah, just like nothing in the Tyranid codex has EW.

Not anymore anyway. That was nice "Oh look I'm in Synapse range, you're strength 10 weapon doesn't insta-kill my T3 ripper swarms"

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
