I'm 15 games deep into Warmachine now. I've got a spotted record, but at 35 points I've managed to score 4 wins. This is the list I've used to learn the basics of the game:

pSorscha
*Juggernaut
*Destroyer
Great Bears of Gallowswood
Koldun Lord
Winterguard Infantry (max) + UA + 3 WA
Kovnik Jozef
Widowmakers

It's a basic list that I've got to thank Tzeentchling for suggesting. Thanks!

It's been a great list to learn the game, and it offers a variety of options. The only glaring weakness it has is a lack of medium based infantry, but that's really a match-up dependent flaw. Most of the time, I've found, it's easy enough to play around (except against Trolls... I have yet to win against Trolls...)

Now, once I've gotten in 20-30 games with the same list, my opponents will likely be terribly bored with it. Therefore, I'm planning to collect the following Karchev list over the holidays.

Karchev the Terrible
*Black Ivan
*Behemoth
*Destroyer
Battle Mechaniks (min)
Winterguard Mortar Crew x2

The strategy is a little odd. It involves using Tow to keep roughly 14" away from the enemy at all times, then bombarding 'em like crazy. I think it will take finesse to play effectively, as well as being able to measure 14" mentally with a high degree of accuracy. That said, I think it's novelty will surprise people, and it's composition is certainly very different from the Sorscha list above.

Now, I've got two lists. I could very easily run more than two, and that's where I'd like the board's help. I want to run an Epic Sorscha list using the models listed above. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I am planning also to buy the War Dog, too, if that's helpful, and I'm not averse to running another caster if (s)he proves marvelously synergistic.

Thanks in advance!

drop black ivan off 'Chev, i would get a cheap melle beater to replace it. jugger or something like that. Chev also wants either wardog or silas wishnailer. i prefer wishnailer for the free upkeep on tow, since Chev is always hurting for focus. also a koldun lord for the third jack in the tow bus

There ain't nearly enough Salvage in this thread!

the karachev list is good, and the main list is the complete opposite to what list i have made for khador

Butcher of khardov
Juggernaut
destroyer
Beast 09
behemoth
5 man-o-war demo corps
5 man-o-war shocktroopers
4 widowmakers
iron fang pikemen with UA

i would recommend the list for karachev with a bit more melee units involved like demo corps or Beast 09

great list and good luck

Khador 75p
Menoth 35p
Circle 25p
Legion 25p
