Hi guys, i am currently collecting blood angels.
Just wanted to ask
Is it worth using a chaplain in assault termi squad if I plan to have a librarian who can cast the unleash rage spell?

Yes. Re-rolling to hit is fun.

Here's food for thought:
Librarian's Unleash Rage power won't always go off because of other Psychic Hoods and Eldar have that thing where you roll 3d6 for Psychic Powers. In my opinion it depends on the list. The chaplain does let Death Company reroll to hit and to wound, but you'll be using it for Assault Terminators.

But wondering if there was a point to have both in the same unit as they both allow to re roll hits. Is it just preference?

I do not see them as worth it. over 90 points for an elite slot that is also a KP, No thank you.
If you want to use a reclusiarch and a Librarian that may work, but do not spend the points on the Chaplain.
as a general rule the librarians are the better choice for a HQ choice. and Assault terminators, Sanguinary priests, and Furioso Dreadnoughts are better choices for elite slots

Why would you put them both in the same unit when they both let you reroll hits?
Don't chaplains only let you reroll hits on the charge anyway?
Libbys are much better for this job

I'd only use it with Blood Angels Death Company. I used a Master of Sanctity for a while at BT, but then realized a Marshal was superior in every way.
