I am planning on doing a JFF Eldar army based on a group of Eldar who quest about the galaxy looking for a good adventure and solid pay. I am aware that I'm frakking most Eldar fluff sideways, but what units/builds do you guys think would work best

JFF?

What the?

Rangers/Pathfinders or Corsairs
They are the only "fluffy" units that go off and do stuff away from other eldar.

I could see a ranger becoming a hired gun (sniper).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I THINK it means just for fun...
There are Eldar pirates (as silly as it sounds) so you could go with that?
Yupp, just read it and Eldar corsairs are generally Rangers and Pathfinders that are outcasts from craftworld Alaitoc.
I would say that pretty much anything would go except for anything wraithboney, farseers and warlocks. I don't think that the farseers and the warlocks would stray from their craftworld much or would just want to wander around having adventures and anything wraithbone would need their influence to keep functioning.

Yeah, sorry about that it does mean just for fun. Yeah I think it would include an Autarch as opposed to a Farseer. I was thinking of having more vehicles than Wraithcritters. For troops maybe a Ranger heavy list would work, maybe some Guardians could work though

Corsairs would think and act fast, so I think storm Guardians would be appropriate, utilising lots of Falcons and Wave Serpents. In terms of aspect warriors, I don't know if many would want to leave their craftworld, as they're so absorbed in their own paths...
Also, lots of jetbikes and vypers - make it a twist on Mechdar with rangers as support

Yeah, definitely not planning on using any Aspects, maybe Harlies would work though

Harlies would be good as they work for any Eldar group.
Did you see my above edit?

No didn't see that sorry. I was actually kind of planning on not using too many jetbikes. I see them as more infantry based

Yeah, it'll be a very odd style for these guys
