Given the blood angel propensity for close combat I was wondering if the furious charge bonus provided by the sanguinary priests could be conferred to a dreadnaught.
The rules of the rules for the blood chalice is that any friendly unit within 6 inches gets furious charge and feel no pain. Now while a dreadnaught wont benefit from Feel No Pain, the furious charge could possible make quite a difference, similarly while a dreadnaught is a vehicle, it has all the stats that would be influenced by furious charge.
My guess is, yes, it would gain the benefit of the rule, however I wonder about other peoples opinions on this.

I say it would ONLY get the +1I bonus.
Most dreads are S10 anyway, so +1S wouldn't make a difference.

Most dreads are Str6 with DCCW that double their strength. However a furious Librarian dread will be striking at Str 6 with it force weapon; so faced with a MC it might want +1S +1I ... So I'd say you get the bonuses (since it doesn't negate vehicles anywhere I can see) but just remember that all values are capped at 10 (bar bonus attacks and AV)

The blood angels get furioso dreads which can take lightning claws and would be at S6. Similarly any dreadnaught that looses its DCCW would also be S6 again.

I think the rule is pretty cut and dry-if it's within 6 inches, it gets the bonus. Does a dreadnaught have a strength and an initiative? It does? Good-it gets the bonus, if in range.

Does it say any unit, or any non-vehicle unit?

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

This is 100% correct.
Not sure how this is unclear. the blood chalice explicitly states that any unit within 6 inches has furious charge and Feel no pain.
a Dreadnought is a unit.

Yep it gets it as its a unit. Also rememberthat your dreads roll for Red Thirst at the start of the game, explicitly allowing them to get furious charge that way too.
