Puppteswar.eu makes a nice Scarab replacement. They're called Cyber Beetles and they look like they'd fit into a Necron army nicely. Hope this helps.

Makes me laugh that GW are still selling these as standard scarabs...

Spoiler:

They should replace those with the plastic scarabs and file those old ones under Collectors or whatever the older stuff is called. But then I guess that removes having to pay approx. £20 for Necron Warriors in order to get more scarabs which I guess is their plan after all.

I don't know if you're registered or not, because registered accounts get access to Bitz and Collectors stuff on the store that isn't available otherwise. Perhaps I was wrong - perhaps this scarab base is already a Collector model.

Edit: Just checked the page and realised they aren't available anymore, sorry for misleading anyone!

They look better than the GW ones which are just lumps of plastic, those have separate legs.

It's really nice looking stuff, I needed 12 scarabs for my list, I just found them now. Thank you for the tip. They look so much better than the GW one.

P.S : When I'll get them (probably in ten days) I'll let you know about the quality.
