Prize support for 1st (best overall), 2nd (best general) and best painted.
Printed Army list for turn-in.
Three round round-robin.

Armies are restricted to 1750 points.
Special Characters are allowed.
Forge World/Imperial Armor/Spear Heads/Formations units are not allowed, Codex built list only.
Terrain will be fixed.
Armies do not have to be fully painted, but the models must clearly identity the unit. (So you can field new toys)
What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) is required.
Each round will be 2 hours. Time remaining will be announced during play.

Just an update on this event, BigJon will be running this event and I'll be helping with logistics for the overall event.

And a reminder that this will be a prep for SCARAB and is 1750 points...

Will put the word out to the Columbia people, but most do not travel. Alex is not available much since he started Law School so might end up just being me that makes the ride.

Looking like we got 4 coming. Myself, Seth, Alex, and Jeremy. Not sure if Alex will flake out, but will be 3 of us at the least.

The tournament was great. The space was nice and got to see some new faces. The feast of blades should work for this location in August. Hope some of you can make it to Greenville for the 21st.

Yeah, I have to say the event went a lot smoother than expected with us wrapping up a little early with one exception (sometimes you just have need to let go when there's nothing left to play for!)

As an aside I have to complement the 3rd place winner as he "re-discovered" an army of bikes in his closet and pulled them out for the tournament! He fared pretty well taking a couple of his opponents by surprise with his speed.

Columbia crew all had a great time. New store is nice and the location is perfect since it is right off the interstate. Took us just a few over an hour to make the ride. See you guys for the team tourney at the end of February. Maybe we can get Alex to get his arse up for the next one.
