So, I have now painted over 1000 points of Eldar in the Alaitoc craftworld colour scheme, and the traditional Aspect colours.

Here is the army together (it is quite a large picture):
Spoiler:

What do you think? Anything I can do better (probably lots).

Alaitoc Eldar: 5000p

Vampire Counts: 3000p

Death Korps of Krieg: 7000p

World Eaters: 2000p

Looks pretty good. Although, some more detailed bases would be nice.

You may also want to paint the edges of the bases a different color than the base itself, such as a dark grey.

Looks good. Can we get closer pics to the individual units? I'd like to see how the tanks came out, and the wraithlord looks awesome.

Improve the bases, then they are perfect.

Looks nice, you got the whole Alaitoc theme going that's awesome. Don't worry about not having an army that's not golden demon standard as it is most of us don't even have a finnished army or one as neat as your own. Will be expecting more from you sir.

Yeah, I've been thinking about ways to make the bases stand out more. The white on them is modeling snow, and I have a gameboard with a snow theme. I'm thinking about adding pieces of ruined architecture to them.

As stated, the bases are a little monotone. I think just a small amount of static grass (winter colored grass) would help.

The yellow helmets on the Farseer/Warlocks appear a bit monotone as well. Possibly a watered down wash of Ogryn Flesh may help create shading in the appropriate areas of the helmets to provide more depth.

Great work and always enjoy viewing another painted Eldar army.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

I like the idea of static grass on the bases rather than the ruins, and painting the rims a darker grey.

Love this army, looks great and the extreme blue highlights really give everything a nice style.

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary."

The background looks like 3 cats with their head sideways. I'm kinda scared.
Nice painting though!

The army looks quite good to me, i like the highlighting!
But you want critic? Ok, here you go

I think you shouldnt have painted the warwalker- and tank- screens, they look better when kept clean imho

then i think your yellow is a little too yellow id have made it darker. But anyway, looks ok

and lastly, the bases contrast too much too the darker models. I'd have made them dark as well, but it isnt that annoying

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

Hahah it does looks like some cats or alien in the background. Too funny.

As for the army, looks awesome man! Unfortunately my browser made the pic fit to screen so the pic is actually kind of small for me, but from what I can see it looks great. Love the colour scheme.

I think the destroyed ruins idea on the bases is better than tuffs of grass. Given that the grass is probably covered by the snow. Maybe in texas when it snows you can still see grass but where i'm from when it snows, there is no grass. Especially if its middle of winter.

Anyways bud great job. Oh and yes closer pics of individual units would be nice!

Alright, here are some close-up pictures.

Here is the Fire Prism. The gems on it are not very advanced at all, sadly...

Here are the Dire Avengers. The gems aren't advanced here either.

To shrink pictures, open them in MS paint, go to 'stretch/skew' drop down box and in stretch put about 60 in each. It will shrink the imagine evenly.
