Hey folks,
I've been playing 40k for about 14 months now (mainly painting and trolling on this site though seems like). I'm starting to integrate at my FLGS and I want to try a single day campaign with one of the other guys. Because I don't know the rules really well, I find big apocalypse games pretty exhausting and non-tactical. So what I was thinking was two smaller games in a day. What I was wondering if you folks have any ideas for special campaign rules for a linked battle.
The armies facing off will be my Orkansas Razorbax themed Ork army vs his CSM Iron Hands.
Game 1: Using 40k in 40 minutes rules 400pts (Camp, Anhiliation, or Seach & Recover?)
Game 2: Normal 40k 1750pts (dunno?).
So, what I was thinking was giving the winner and the loser special conditions for victory in both games. Also, I was thinking about allowing some special events to happen in the second game based on the first's outcome. Orks win... this happens in game 2... CSM win that happens in game 2. Ideas?
Happy Thanksgiving,
DrG
P.S. Go HOGS go! Beat LSU tomorrow in the battle for the "Golden Boot."
