Well, do you have a codex? Sure doesn't look like you have a codex. Alot of those points are wrong and I have only a vague idea of what a 'assault cannon' is in IG terms.

This list will be tore up by anything with AV 12+ as you have /nothing/ to stop AV 12+. Not a single melta, not a single lascannon, not really a single clue apparently. Honestly, what are you thinking?

Get the codex and the base rule book, read it, then people can help you refine your list. Don't throw up something and pray someone makes you a competitive list when you can't even be bothered to read the dang thing.

well it was for a tau army which all my opponent has as far as vehicles is transports and drop pod for the space wolves. yes i do have the up to date codex and a rulebook i will doublecheck points on this though..this list is for me and 2 other friends because we are competitive to eachother...sorry for any misunderstandings. i meant to put auto cannons not assualt cannons, but the points are correct now.

There's an unfortunate lack of S8+ weapons, and weapons which are AP3 or better. If you had some commissars in those infantry platoons, that might be another matter, but as it is, you don't.

Thank you for editing your list, sorry about being harsh, but you have 'competitive', not 'friendly' in the title. This tells me that your expecting for this list to be able to have some way to deal with any other list out there.

Your points are still off though, as a base PCS is 30pts, not 50pts, giving you 40pts to play with. Also understand the PCS can not combine up with your PIS, as only PISs can combine with other PISs. As a 5 man squad, the power weapon is probably not worth it as anything but Tau assaulting you will steam roll the unit in the first turn.

Your blobs need Commissars (so one for each), meaning you need an extra 70pts, and they should have power weapons, so 90pts. You should also use Melta guns over GLs, as one of the 2 things that makes GLs worth a damn is that it is assault. Your PIS should also have melta bombs for the Sergeants to give them some form or walker defense (you did mention drop pod Space Wolves).

Now your two blobs can advance with your LRBT and support each other, while your CCS, PCSs, and HWS provide covering fire. Have your CCS give itself 'Bring it Down!' and toss it out to your HWS. Read up on the Orders and 'Bring it Down!'.
Read up on the rapid fire rules for your lasguns (specially if your assaulting to get in close combat), and remember your bolters and plasma guns can rapid fire (for those drop pods marines). I normally don't mess with the Bolters or Bolt pistols (or GLs for that matter), but I couldn't upgrade all 4 of the GLs in your PCSs to something better.
