May Your Souls Be Sacrificed As Penance To The True Machine God
By The Way The Flag Is New Zealand Not Australia.

The Machine is strong. We must purge the weak, hated flesh and replace it with the blessed purity of metal. Only through permanence can we truly triumph, only through the Machine can we find victory. Punish the flesh. Iron in mind and in body. Hail the Machine.

Wouldn't assault squads with 2 melta-guns be a better choice here? You could use Descent of angels to acurately drop them next to enemy armour. Coupled with Sanginuary priests would make them much more survivable/feasible assault units the following turn.

Firstly tactical squads are probably your best troop choice for drop pods, cue other opinions.
Try giving them melta and combimelta, that well they do damage the turn they land. Also I think I would take honour guard in a drop pod which will enable you to land a priest to help the tactical squads.

Also you should think about using dreads in drop pods and using Baals to support the drop pods.

Who knows whether your termies will ever make it into cc.
Also why are you using drop pods with BA?

this list is more suited for codex marines. the only real difference in the list itself is the libby powers and the priest. although yes the general army rules makes a difference, but in this case a very small difference

blood angels themselves are more of an assault based army. granted there are a build or 2 that is dedicated to pure shooting but you dont see them that much and this isnt one of those builds. would suggest reading other blood angel army list posts here to see if there is anything you like. if not then here i go...

starting with your troops...id give them a flamer in addition to the multi-melta as it is a free weapon. also would advise against power weapons, generally if your getting charged chances are it will either be from something that can really hurt you or by something else that has whittled you down. if you must have a special weapon on your tacticals id suggest power fists if you can find the points for it.

your libby seems a bit out of place as well. i understand what your getting at for your powers, but having str5 init5 power weapon attacks will pretty much take out alot of stuff you would need your str10 for. so id suggest dropping the epistolary upgrade. mainly because it will really be a rare situation you will need to cast both powers in a turn. if your tank hunting or IC gibbing it wouldnt make that much of a difference if you were able to cast both. if need be you can always give a termie a thunder hammer since you have 5 pts left over.

also you will have to hug terrain or drop your pods just right so your raider doesnt go down to fast from long range high str weapons.

would also suggest you keep your priest in the raider if you can as even with a 2+ save and FnP they can still go down hard in combat
