Hey everyone. I am new to the site and so far i love what I se. There seems to be lots of helpful knowledge as well as some playful jibbing.

I played Tau and Necrons back in 4th edition in high school but i have been on a hiatus since about 2008-09. I just started a CSM army for a few reasons.
1. Sometimes being the villian is the most fun
2. They way that there fluff hits me is cool. I like that one of the bigest draws to becoming a renegade Space Marine is that the rank and assention to power is based on martial prowess and giving souls to the gods. so a Marine as fast as he can elevate himself.
3. I had two friends in high school that played Chaos, one World Eaters and one Emperors Children. I beat them constantly. I have always been the kind of person/gamer to want to experience a character, army, etc. that a person is failing with. i do this because it is rewarding to prove that there isn't some huge mechanic thats screwing them over, it's a lack of exploring and utilizing every strength and masking every weakness. (This may tak some work because it's known that CSM have their flaws in this current codex)

I look forward to being a member of this cool site and i just have a couple questions. Is there a tutorial for quoting becase i messed it up when i tried it, and are there any facts on how the ranking track works? like are there rough estimates on how to gain rank? Thank you in advance for any help!

You can quote by pressing the "quote" buttoan at the right side of the post which you want to quote. And you ranks is determined by the number of your posts.

Welcome to dakka mate, you'll rank up at 10, 25, then in hundreds till you hit the thousands and then rank up per thousand, thats the pattern I've seen in my short stay
