Heya all

I apologise if this is a simple question but I am kinda unclear of the city of death rulings (I lost the paper sheet which comes with the bastion box).
The Icarus lascannon can be fired in the shooting phase by a unit that is adjacent instead of that unit firing their normal weapon. Now Lelith has damn high BS but doesn't actually have a shooting attack since she lacks any ranged weapon.
Can she still fire the lascannon?

You know what, just tell me when a weapon doesn't have AP

England. University.

Nothing specifies that the unit/model must have a ranged weapon to begin with.
If she's not currently in combat, and follows the rules for firing a turret, then yeah.
Don't see why not.

I do cheap Commissions! Scratch builds, table-top standard painting, building stuff you haven't the time to, anything! PM for info

The only person who can't fire a ranged weapon is someone without a BS score.

If the turret allows anyone nearby to fire it, and they have a BS stat they can fire it, even if they don't have a ranged weapon on them, as they won't be using their splinter pistol or whatever anyway

There are a fair few CC oriented models that have rocking BS stats

Incubi are the same way, for example. Tne only ranged weapon they can access autohits

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
