so i've been looking online at quite a few methods for making up combi weapons but after seeing this on the forgeworld site last night i decided to use occam's exacto knife on my approach

my kitbashing imitation is simply the end of an ork boy pistol (from AOBR) where the muzzle & guides normally sit on the boltgun. looks pretty spartan, but nonetheless effective. one could always put on a flamer or hand flamer tank on the side for a bit more realism. cheers

PS apologies if this is a repeat or in the wrong place - i did a few searches but couldn't find anything using the same method

That looks great considering how simple it is, not bad at all.

Nice job! I wish tau had combo weapons, but I'll just have to wait for now.

Excellent tutorial! You should make some other kombis, too!

i made this one before the other one, as what i imagined would be a combi-melta. it's actually a plasma pistol with the venting & grip shaved off, stuck where the iron sights normally are (i moved the bolter muzzle down a bit too). the flamer tank on the side was meant to emphasise the melta-i-ness but unfortunately it looks somewhat haphazard/ orkish. i don't have another one of those pistols lying around but they look like this.. and the kitbash looks like this:

Good tutorials.
