Here are some pictures of my Iron Warriors Razorback. I have heard a different name used instead of Razorback. Does anyone know what that is? I use this for my 5-man Havoc Squad accompanied by my Warsmith.

Nice conversion! I think you could touch up the softer spray lines with some painted-on black, but it looks good.

I'm not sure how you'd use it though. There is no other name for a Razorback, and Chaos Marines have never been able to use them. I guess you could use this as some sort of Chaos Predator, or run your Iron Warriors as a regular Space Marine army?

Thank you for the comments. I will try to clean some of the lines.

I run it as a captured piece of equipment much like the artillery pieces I have, using Space Marine rules with a little Daemonic possession thrown in to take over it's machine spirit. I heard the name Spineback before, completely unofficial though.

I haven't had trouble using it, I don't compete in tournaments other then for fun, so fielding it hasn't been an issue.

Now that we are all "Heretics" lets give back these land speeders, venerable dreadnoughts, attack bikes and all the other things that we no longer need......

Lets hope the next Chaos Codex addresses this

I love that model. to improve it, maybe you could neaten up the hazard stripes a bit more? Other than that absolutely brilliant!

Hazard stripes are sort of an "all or nothing" venture - clean lines and even spacing are musts, otherwise it just doesn't feel right. Aside from those, I'd say your metallics are a bit flat. A black or brown wash followed by a drybrush of the original metallic color is about as quick and easy as it gets, but it'll do wonders for definition. Same idea for the yellow helmet. Also, it looks like the yellow of your searchlight lens could do with another coat or two for coverage.

It could definitely do with a bit more work, but it's not a bad effort.

Ah, the old Iron Warrior's safety stripes. Easily the worst painting quirk in the entire game. WARNING! DO NOT USE TANK AS A STEP

When taping spray a layer of Matte varnish over it.
This seals the tape preventing bleeding under the tape

Hmm, Iron warriors seldom use demons or the other really chaosy options so it could be fun to run them using the vanilla marine dex. Definitely would be more interesting to face on the table than another Ultramarine army if some nice conversions are included.

For the Emperor! Kill Maim Burn!... I mean purge the unclean!

I'm afraid I don't like the stripes.

You should use masking tape instead of freehanding it. it makes life a lot easier.

It's got bags of character - the bit I like best is the Imp Fist helmet casually hanging off the side. Yah boo sucks to the loyalists.
