As the title says, what Lord of the Rings characters fit best with the 40K characters?

In what way, as in I could use X model for Y model?
Or as in fluff wise?

Fluff-wise
Like, if if LotR characters were in 40K, who would they be? Like who would Gandalf, Gimli, and others be?

Sauren with the ring would be like the emperor in his prime, in terms of power. Pure unstoppable rage.
Hobbits would obviously be ratling snipers, with Scout and Move Through Cover special rules.

Ever thought 40k would be a lot better with bears?

Lol yeah. Getting into Mordor would've been pretty hard without those special rules

Who though? Asurmen fits the best I think.

Exactly who is tricky, it's really down to Asurman or Maugan Ra as they are both the ranged characters. If there were a Ranger character I'd definitely say that is who Legolas is.

What about that one Ranger from the DoW2: Retribution? Ronhan...Rohan...something like that.

A friend of mine likes to use Gandalf as a Jokero weapon smith under the pretense that, "A WIZARD DID IT!!!!"

I think if take Legolas and throw in Orlando's character from Pirates we then get in 40k Prince Yriel, High Admiral of the Iyanden fleet, High Admiral of the Eldritch Raiders corsair fleet.
