I play deathgaurd and have been thinking about constructing my primarch to lead my legion into melee when we play apocolypse. My question is this. every time is see a model of Mortarion he is pictured with wings. Does he infact have wings. i realise that he is now a demon prince but is there any reason to believe that he would be winged.
thanks

I believe Sanguinius was the only primarch to have wings 'naturally', pre-heresy.

Mortarion did not originally have wings, but he does now. It was a daemonic gift/mutation, I expect.

Mortarion looks pretty badass in that pic.

That was before Draigo carved his predecessor's name into Mortarion's heart.

I feel kind of dirty now.

Maybe I should join Nurgle.

Left him with a bad case of heartburn.

Mortarion is an absolute beast. Dragoi was just... uh... hallucinating. Yeah, that's it, hallucinating...

Then Horus comes across the lone grot, somehow managing to kill the Emperor, and punts it into space.

The sink.

Pre-heresy Morty could've had a jump pack styled to look like wings.
