Hey guys,

So my buddy is just starting with his Blood Ravens army and he's always saying how much he wants a Librarian for his army, so I thought I'd convert a Grey knight Terminator into a Librarian and give it to him as a gift. I kind of wish I hadn't offered it now because I really like how he came out and am having gift givers remorse. Anyway, here it is. There are still some spots that need a light sanding. Let me know what you think of the conversion work. Happy Thanksgiving!

That looks awesome, He would love tht model and wouldn't really want to give him that either as i'd love it for my own army.

It looks great!

What I'd suggest is giving it to him, and using the practice you got from making it to make another one from yourself, which will probably look even more impressive!

it is really nice, great converting! the only thing i'd say is that i'm not too keen on the head looking straight though

Big, bulky and overly decorated. Just like a Librarian should be. Perfect. Your friend ought to be very happy.

I agree, it looks like he's aiming the stormbolter at something, but not paying attention. Because you've modelled the pipes into the head and it might be difficult to alter it, maybe you could lower the stormbolter arm slightly? Just my 0.02.

Otherwise it's fantastic - You have a very lucky friend.

thanks for the positive feedback. The head position was actually deliberate. I thought the position of the legs along with an added twist to the waste and the arm in that position gives him a sense of motion, as if he is swinging around to his left to deal with a threat. The focus of the arm wont actually be the stormbolter, as I intended to have the open hand painted with a Blue OSL Glow to simulate a psychic power surge building up. Shold be a perfect effect for the pose once completed.

Looks insane.

Cant wait to stare at the model, get my color scheme, prime him then have him collect dust as i am too petrified to put paint onto him.

Seriously, thanks heavybolter.
